Blubonnet Children's Center has some great resources for personal safety of our students. RAINN provides information on ways for high school teens and young adults to reduce the risk of sexual assault.
"It's Not Just Jenna" DVD is about the Quinn family's experience with sexual abuse and the recovery process. It begins with introduction to the perpetrator and continues though the trauma the family felt after the abuse was disclosed.
P.S. It's My Body! is a personal safety series designed to teach and reinforce the three R's of personal safety: Recognize, Resist, and Report.
