The National Honor Society of Leakey ISD announces a South Texas Blood and Tissue Center Blood Drive on November 16, 2009. The Blood Drive will be during the hours of 9 am to 3 pm at the United Methodist Church. Cookies and juice will be provided. On September 1, 2009, the National Honor Society received an award and a $1,000 prize for having the largest percentage of participants for schools of similar size during the 2008-2009 school year. Thank you for your support in helping the NHS to attain this prize. This money will be used for community service projects.
